Spring Break with the kids---and a lesson in great service

This trip showed me what truly sets a resort apart—not perfection, but how they handle things when something doesn’t go as planned.

My Experience:
During our stay, we had an issue with the air conditioning in our room. The resort immediately offered to move us to a different property, but we genuinely loved the resort so much that we chose to stay.
Instead, the staff worked with us and, by the end of the trip, provided a voucher for a complimentary week in the future. That level of service and care made a lasting impression.
Why It Matters for My Clients:
Things don’t always go perfectly when you travel—but the difference is how a resort responds. This experience is why I pay close attention to service, management, and how guests are treated when recommending resorts.
Best time to visit
December–April for the best weather ☀️ Spring break is a popular (and fun!) time for families 🌴 May–June & November offer great value
