After our honeymoon, this trip gave us the chance to experience a different destination and see how all-inclusives compare. It opened my eyes to how each location—and each resort—can offer a completely different vibe.

- A more lively, energetic atmosphere compared to St. Lucia

This trip helped me realize that not all all-inclusives are created equal. While we loved the beauty of Cancun, it was my first real understanding of how important it is to match the right resort to the right traveler.

December–April for the best weather ☀️ May–June & November for better value 🌴 Late summer/early fall can be hot with a higher chance of storms

- Cancun beaches are beautiful, but some areas can have seaweed—ask me which resorts have the best beach conditions
- Choose your resort based on your travel style (quiet vs. lively makes a big difference here)
- Consider airport transfers and location—Hotel Zone vs. Riviera Maya can change your entire experience
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen to protect the beautiful water
