A reminder that the right resort truly matters
Why This Trip Matters:
This trip was a turning point in how I evaluate and recommend resorts. It reinforced that not all all-inclusive experiences are equal—and that details matter more than people realize.
My Experience:
Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. From arrival, service felt inconsistent, and we experienced challenges throughout the trip. Access to bottled water was limited, and during our stay, my husband became very ill, which impacted the remainder of our vacation and extended beyond our return home.
Dining also proved difficult at times, especially managing meals while one parent was unavailable. Overall, it highlighted how important service, support, and resort policies are—especially for families.
Why It Matters for My Clients:
This experience is a big part of why I’m so intentional about the resorts I recommend today. I don’t just look at photos or pricing—I consider service quality, safety, and overall guest experience.
It’s also why I guide my clients carefully when choosing destinations and resorts, so they can avoid situations like this and truly enjoy their vacation.
