Couples Negril, Jamaica
October 2025-Part 2 Anniversary Trip
A laid-back favorite we’d happily return to
Why This Trip Matters:
After experiencing another Couples resort, this stay gave me a clear perspective on how different properties within the same brand can offer completely different experiences.
What Made It Special:
- A smaller, more intimate resort feel
- Warm, attentive service throughout the stay
- A relaxed, easy atmosphere similar to Sandals—but more laid-back
My Experience:
We really enjoyed this resort. It has a smaller footprint, which made everything feel more connected and easy to navigate. The overall vibe reminded me a bit of Sandals—but with a more relaxed, low-key feel.
Service stood out here in a positive way. While our anniversary wasn’t initially acknowledged, once it was brought to their attention, they went above and beyond to make it right—including arranging a private airport transfer, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Another highlight was the all-day room service, which is a nice bonus compared to some resorts that only offer it for breakfast.
The rooms are more simple and hotel-like compared to some higher-end resorts, but still comfortable—and overall, the resort experience more than made up for it.
Resort Update:
This was our last stay just before a hurricane impacted the area about a week after we returned. It’s a reminder of how quickly things can change—and why staying up to date on resort conditions matters.
Why It Matters for My Clients:
This is a great option for clients looking for a more intimate, relaxed couples resort with strong service and a welcoming feel. I also stay on top of current conditions and updates so my clients always have the most accurate information when planning.
